This 1-day workshop is for everyone who is interested in developing new skills on the pottery wheel.

Info workshop:
During this workshop, you will learn a variety of techniques to transform wheel-thrown forms. After a short introduction, Daria will demonstrate different ways of altering freshly thrown pieces. Once the clay has been partially dried with a heat gun, you will transform your forms using a variety of tools and materials, including ribs (wooden or kidney), sodium silicate (waterglass), and more.

Following several demonstrations, you will have time to practice these techniques and develop your own transformed forms.

Participants who wish can trim, fire, and glaze their work during the open studio days.

If you have a strippenkaart, only the regular clay fee of €1.80 per 100 grams applies.

If you visit the studio once to finish your work, the cost is €15.00 per hour, plus the regular clay fee of €1.80 per 100 grams.

The workshop is conducted in English. Wheel-throwing experience is required.

Group size: Maximum of 12 participants; the workshop will take place with a minimum of 8 participants.

Payment Terms:

Within 1 week after receiving your registration confirmation, we will send an email with a payment request. After this email is sent, the full amount must be paid within 2 weeks. An invoice can of course be requested after payment. To request an invoice, please email pottenbakken@peetcrmcs.com
Cancellations of masterclasses, 1- day and multi-day workshops are only refunded in the form of a credit voucher. These vouchers are valid for 2 years and cannot be extended.
- Participation may be cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to the workshop. An administrative fee of €20 will be deducted. The remaining balance will be issued as a credit for a future purchase.
- For cancellations between 4 weeks and 1 week prior to the start date, 50% will be refunded in the form of a credit voucher.
- For cancellations within 7 days of the start date, no refund will be given in any form. It is, of course, always possible to send a substitute if you are unable to attend. In that case, please contact us no later than 2 days prior to the first day of the workshop.
