Info masterclass:
Take your pottery skills to the next level and learn how to create large-scale ceramics using advanced techniques. In this workshop, you’ll explore how to throw and assemble large pieces of clay in multiple segments, giving you the freedom and skills to create impressive vases, bowls, and wide dishes. Those who wish can trim, fire, and glaze their creations during the open studio days. The regular fee of €1.80 per 100 grams of clay applies.
This three-day masterclass is designed for participants with experience who are able to center at least 3 kg of clay. The masterclass will be conducted in English
Masterclass dates: April 17 – April 19
Group size: Maximum of 12 participants; the workshop will take place with a minimum of 8 participants.

Duration: 3 days, the workshop starts each day at 10:00 and ends at 17:00.
Costs: € 495,00
This is including the use of clay, tools, and a healthy lunch/coffee/tea, excluding firing)
What to bring: Apron, towel, tape measure
Workshop Schedule
Day 1: Demonstration throwing XXL
Showing the students how to build a large vase in at least 3 separate segments.
Participants will practice throwing clay in separate segments.
Day 2: Putting the segments together to create a vase.
Demonstration of a different technique to create height: using rings of clay on top of a base.

Note! The masterclass lasts 3 days, but in the system you only book the first day.

Within 1 week after receiving your registration confirmation, we will send an email with a payment request. After this email is sent, the full amount must be paid within 2 weeks. An invoice can of course be requested after payment. To request an invoice, please email pottenbakken@peetcrmcs.com

Cancellations of masterclasses and multi-day workshops are only refunded in the form of a credit voucher. These vouchers are valid for 2 years and cannot be extended.

Participation may be cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to the workshop. An administrative fee of €20 will be deducted. The remaining balance will be issued as a credit for a future purchase.

For cancellations between 4 weeks and 1 week prior to the start date, 50% will be refunded in the form of a credit voucher.

For cancellations within 7 days of the start date, no refund will be given in any form. It is, of course, always possible to send a substitute if you are unable to attend. In that case, please contact us no later than 2 days prior to the first day of the workshop.
