During this intensive 3-day pottery workshop, you will practice together with Eugene to master the art of pottery. He will demonstrate a wide variety of techniques and forms. The program below is a guideline and can be flexibly adapted to each participant’s level. Beginners will focus on (better) centering and pulling up clay; more advanced potters can choose what they want to develop. Those who wish can trim, fire, and glaze their creations during the open studio days. The regular fee of €1.80 per 100 grams of clay applies.

This multi-day workshop is designed for anyone who wants to throw and learn a lot in a short time. Everyone starts at their own level. The workshop is conducted in English.

Workshop dates: August 15 – August 17

Group size: Maximum of 12 participants; the workshop will take place with a minimum of 10 participants.

Duration: 3 days, the workshop starts each day at 10:00 and ends at 17:00.

What to bring: Apron and towel

This is including the use of clay, tools, and a healthy lunch/coffee/tea, excluding firing

Program:

Day 1 – The Foundation:
Focus on fundamental techniques and proper hand positioning. Prepare your body and build essential skills to work confidently with larger amounts of clay and more complex forms.

Day 2 – Expanding Skills
Step up your practice by working with more clay and creating more complex shapes. Learn to handle larger projects with ease and precision.

Day 3 – Demo & Practice
Eugene will demonstrate techniques tailored to the group’s interests, including:

Closed forms
Working with 4–6 kg of clay
Composite shapes
Lid making…and much more!

Payment Terms:

Within 1 week after receiving your registration confirmation, we will send an email with a payment request. After this email is sent, the full amount must be paid within 2 weeks. An invoice can of course be requested after payment. To request an invoice, please email pottenbakken@peetcrmcs.com
Cancellations of masterclasses and multi-day workshops are only refunded in the form of a credit voucher. These vouchers are valid for 2 years and cannot be extended.
- Participation may be cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to the workshop. An administrative fee of €20 will be deducted. The remaining balance will be issued as a credit for a future purchase.
- For cancellations between 4 weeks and 1 week prior to the start date, 50% will be refunded in the form of a credit voucher.
- For cancellations within 7 days of the start date, no refund will be given in any form. It is, of course, always possible to send a substitute if you are unable to attend. In that case, please contact us no later than 2 days prior to the first day of the workshop.
